Volunteer at a School
There are a many ways schools can benefit from your contribution of time. Volunteers can judge science fairs, paint classrooms, coach a team, tutor or mentor students, or just provide general assistance in the classroom. You can become a volunteer in one of the 46th Ward schools by completing the following steps:
- Complete all forms in the Volunteer Registration Packet (click here for Spanish) and submit them to the CPS school you will be volunteering with;
- Pass a background check performed by CPS; and
- Obtain authorization from school principal to begin volunteering.
